You will be joining the Data team, and your contributions will directly impact the development of the most complete music metadata database.
This database is a foundational part of the entire BMAT OS, powering products and services across other teams.

Previous experience in the music business is a plus, and a strong belief that music can save the world is a must.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the Data team projects’ workload and OKRs, collaborating with other engineering and operations teams, proposing solutions to automate and optimize processes, and assisting with operations.
The role requires 1-3 years of experience in software development, cloud, and database management, with a preference for experience in Data Engineer, Backend Engineer, or related roles.
Requirements:
Mandatory requirements include professional experience with Linux, Git, Python, MongoDB, and at least one Python API framework such as FastAPI or Flask.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
The ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners is essential.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
Candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative is expected.

Fluency in English is required.
Desirable qualifications include experience with at least one Cloud platform, preferably AWS, as well as Apache Airflow, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Postgres.
Familiarity with Atlassian (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) and Slack is a plus, along with fluency in Spanish.
