Requirements:
You must have solid experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-centric engineering role.
A proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Databricks is required.
You should have a strong understanding of big data processing, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration in cloud environments.
Proficiency in Python or Scala for building robust and efficient ETL/ELT workflows is necessary.
A solid grasp of data modeling best practices, such as star and snowflake schemas and normalization, is essential, along with experience handling large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
Advanced SQL skills for querying, data transformation, and performance optimization are required.
Familiarity with Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and data versioning techniques within Databricks is expected.
Experience integrating Databricks with cloud storage platforms such as Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, or Google Cloud Storage is necessary.
An understanding of CI/CD practices in data engineering, including version control and orchestration tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory, is required.
