Description:

  • As a Data Engineer reporting to the Vice President of Global Data Intelligence, you will be responsible for delivering analytic data services to Experian clients.
  • You will represent Experian's analytic and data expertise during business development discussions and direct the development of analytical products.
  • Your focus will be on both bureau data and alternative data, ensuring the successful deployment of those products and services.
  • You will collaborate in the planning, design, and testing of new attribute functionality and enhancements.
  • You will analyze and confirm the integrity of source data to be evaluated and perform mapping of data elements across countries.
  • You will develop scripting tools and strategies for deploying code in languages such as Python, Spark, or Scala to handle large data repositories based on technical specifications.
  • You will translate complex requirements into technical solutions and perform data analysis and data modeling to create source to target mappings.
  • Work hours will be flexible, preferably from 10:00 to 19:00, due to team members being located in Argentina and the USA.

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience conducting data manipulation analytics and modeling.
  • You should possess analytical skills and experience in building models using both traditional regression methods and machine learning.
  • Programming knowledge of Python, R, or SAS is required, with Python being critical. Experience in visualization and exploratory data analysis is also necessary.
  • You should have knowledge of consumer credit data or related financial services data, with the ability to summarize data and perform exploratory data analysis to extract behaviors that will be turned into attributes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills are required.
  • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI will be considered an advantage.
