  • You will apply software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and version control, to ensure reliability and maintainability of data engineering workflows.

Requirements:

  • You must have 3+ years of experience in data engineering and working on large-scale data systems.
  • An expert level in SQL is required, with proficiency in Python preferred.
  • You should be skilled in dimensional and normalized data modeling and transformation using tools like dbt Cloud.
  • A strong understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure, preferably AWS and Snowflake, is necessary.
  • Experience with BI platforms like Metabase and Sigma Computing for data visualization/dashboard tools is required.
  • You should have experience with data ingestion and ETL pipelines, such as Fivetran.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming using tools like Confluent Kafka is important.
  • Proficiency in version control with Git and collaborative development on GitHub or GitLab is required.

Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 base salary, dependent on experience level and interview performance.
