The Data Engineer I/II is responsible for managing and operating various tools including Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, Dbt, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, and PowerBI.
The engineer will work closely with the customer and team lead to manage and operate the cloud data platform.
This role requires extensive problem-solving skills and the ability to research issues, determine root causes, and implement resolutions.
The engineer must prioritize issues and multi-task effectively.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Tableau/Databricks and SQL-based data analytics solutions.
Experience with Tableau/Databricks and SQL Data Warehouse environments is desired.
Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, SSRS/SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, and PowerBI is necessary.
The candidate must have the ability to read and write SQL and stored procedures.
Experience with AWS is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting, are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
The candidate should be able to work inclusively in small groups.
