Description:

  • Participation in Agile ceremonies such as standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning is required.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing production issues as they arise is part of the job.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of applied experience in Data Engineering, including building Data Pipelines, Orchestration, Data Modeling, and Data Lake.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, along with SQL, is necessary, with experience in writing reusable and efficient code to automate analysis and data processes.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing, including relational and dimensional data modeling, is required.
  • Strong working experience with various data sources, including APIs, real-time feeds, and structured and semi-structured file formats, is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience processing large datasets and building code using Glue, Apache Airflow/Amazon MWAA, SQL, Python, and pySpark.
  • Experience in developing near Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines is required.
  • Familiarity with AWS data management tools such as S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB, as well as related tools like Athena, EMR, Glue, and Lambda, is necessary.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment is required.

  • The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $140,000.
