  • The Data Engineer, Lead Analyst, Enterprise Data and Analytics will be part of the "Expand" team, responsible for developing data flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, data marts, and analytics solutions for the global enterprise data & analytics platform.
  • This position will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data rules, business logic, and reporting needs to create a platform of certified data definitions for dashboards and self-service analytics.
  • The role includes hands-on development while adhering to architectural and development best practices.
  • The primary focus will be on supporting business stakeholders in Sales, Sales Ops, and Marketing.
  • The position is remote and reports to the Senior Manager, Data Engineer of the Analytics pillar.
  • Specific duties include developing analytical data models, data models for a scalable data platform, and implementing end-to-end analytics solutions using modern technical stacks like Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Informatica, and Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with BI, ETL/ELT data pipeline integration patterns, and data modeling best practices is required, along with in-depth knowledge of data governance, data engineering, visualization, and business intelligence functions.
  • At least 2 years of experience with multiple database systems such as Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 1+ years of hands-on experience with modern data warehousing tools and deep expertise in SQL, as well as proficiency in building BI solutions like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
  • Experience with various data warehousing concepts and methodologies, including snapshotting, incremental data loads, SCDs, and star schemas is required.
  • An advanced understanding of SQL development and ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, DBT, SSIS, and Matillion is essential.
  • Flexibility in adapting to team and organizational needs is important.
  • Experience managing the ingestion and modeling of business application data sources like Salesforce, Oracle Suite, and Jira is a plus.
  • Comfort in working within an agile team and familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Github is expected.
  • Working experience with DevOps best practices and version control platforms like Git is required.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and business stakeholders, demonstrating strong written and verbal presentation skills.
