As a Data Engineer at FINN, you will be part of the core Data Platform team, responsible for shaping, designing, implementing, and maintaining a state-of-the-art data platform.
Your role will empower analytics and business teams to unlock insights and drive value from FINN’s data.
You will have the flexibility to work either in the Munich office or remotely within ±3 hours of the CET/CEST timezone.

Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of data engineering experience delivering scalable, production-grade data systems.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data transformation, orchestration, and automation is required.
You should have at least 2+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, or Dataflow/Dataproc.
Experience in MLOps, including model deployment and monitoring of ML pipelines in production environments, for at least 1+ year is necessary.
Proven experience in building and maintaining data platforms, including CI/CD workflows, data pipelines, orchestration systems, and infrastructure-as-code is essential.
Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts, modern data formats (e.g., Parquet, Avro), and performance optimization strategies is required.
A strong growth mindset and motivation to continuously improve self and team performance are important.
Previous experience in an agile development team is a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory.

The salary for this position ranges from €63,000 to €73,000 per year, with factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, education level, seniority, and performance influencing pay.
