  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, structuring, and maintaining enterprise-wide data models, ontologies, and semantic layers to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and developing enterprise data ontologies to define relationships between business concepts and datasets.
  • The candidate will architect scalable data solutions using Palantir Foundry, including pipeline design, data lineage, and operational workflows.
  • Collaboration with domain experts and stakeholders to model ontologies that align with business semantics and goals is essential.
  • The role involves ensuring semantic interoperability across different business units and data systems.
  • Implementing data governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and lineage across all enterprise datasets is required.
  • The candidate will lead the integration of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into the Foundry ecosystem.
  • Optimizing data architecture for analytics, machine learning, and real-time data exploration is a key responsibility.
  • Providing guidance on best practices in ontology modeling, knowledge graphs, and metadata management is expected.
  • Mentoring junior team members and collaborating across cross-functional data engineering and business teams is part of the role.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong understanding of data modeling principles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Palantir Foundry hands-on experience, including ontology and pipeline development, is necessary.
  • Strong expertise in OWL, RDF, SPARQL, or similar technologies for ontology modeling is required.
  • A deep understanding of semantic modeling, data catalogs, and knowledge graph development is essential.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) is required.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and working with large-scale data systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with metadata management tools and enterprise data governance frameworks is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration are essential.
