As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and storage solutions.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to ensure efficient data workflows and enable data-driven decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows, optimizing data storage and processing using cloud-based technologies, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
You will also monitor and improve data infrastructure performance, implement best practices for data governance, and develop robust data injection processes.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong expertise in AWS data services such as Redshift, Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, and Kinesis is required.
Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark and Apache Airflow is necessary.
You should possess strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and schema design.
Hands-on experience in Python is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English (B2) with both written and spoken skills is required for clear communication with native speakers.
Experience with real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures, as well as exposure to machine learning workflows and MLOps practices, is considered a nice to have.
