Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, and/or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, data warehousing, and efficient coding practices is essential.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud environments (AWS, GCP), and ETL processing is required.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as BigQuery, S3, Kafka, Kinesis, and batch processing pipelines is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience with data management, governance, security, and privacy, including PII and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with analytical and data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, is preferred.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include certifications in cloud or database technologies, knowledge of SOLID principles, Terraform experience, and HIPAA compliance awareness.
