  • Seesaw is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data Foundations team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports data-driven decision making across the company.
  • The role involves scaling the data infrastructure to serve a growing international user base, including evolving the Snowflake architecture and supporting regional data requirements.
  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data warehouse models, evolving ETL pipelines, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
  • Deep experience with Snowflake, including managing large-scale deployments and performance tuning, is required.
  • Experience in building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, preferably with tools like AWS Glue or Airflow, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based data architectures is expected.
  • Experience supporting distributed data infrastructure or regional data warehouse instances is important.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, are required.

Benefits:

  • The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000, plus RSUs.
