Seesaw is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the Data Foundations team, which is responsible for the company's data infrastructure.
The role involves building and maintaining data warehouses, systems, pipelines, and tooling that support data-driven decision-making and customer-facing data products.
The Data Engineer will work on evolving the Snowflake architecture and supporting regional data requirements as Seesaw expands its international presence.
Responsibilities include designing scalable data warehouse models, enhancing ETL pipelines, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
The position offers ownership of new initiatives to support multiple regional data requirements and contribute to the globalization of the data platform.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
Deep experience with Snowflake, including managing large-scale deployments and performance tuning, is required.
Experience in building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using tools like AWS Glue or Airflow is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based data architectures is expected.
Candidates should have experience supporting distributed data infrastructure or regional data warehouse instances.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Benefits:
The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 plus RSUs.
