We are looking for a Semi Senior Data Engineer with experience in developing and implementing data solutions on AWS.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ingestion processes in the cloud, as well as real-time processing solutions.
The project has an initial duration of 6 months (with the possibility of renewal), under a full-time 100% remote modality and hiring as a contractor/service provider with payment in dollars.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines, developing data ingestion processes into data lakes on AWS, implementing real-time data processing solutions, working with multidisciplinary teams under agile methodology, and optimizing data infrastructure for storage, analysis, and visualization.
Requirements:
More than 2 years of experience in software development and/or data engineering is required.
Experience in developing platforms based on AWS, especially data pipelines, is essential.
Proficiency in development with Python, including the use of specific libraries for data processing, is necessary.
Experience in developing cloud data ingestion services is required.
Previous experience working with agile methodologies is essential.
Practical knowledge of AWS Step Functions, AWS Glue, and AWS Kinesis is required.
Soft skills include analytical thinking and problem-solving focus, good communication for remote teamwork, autonomy and responsibility in deliverables, and the ability to adapt to changing environments and dynamic projects.
