  • As a Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture for our organization.
  • Your expertise in Snowflake, a cloud-based data warehousing platform, will be essential in optimizing data workflows, ensuring data quality, and enabling efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and designing scalable and efficient data transformations using Snowflake.
  • You will develop and maintain the data architecture, ensuring it aligns with business goals and industry best practices.
  • You will configure and optimize Snowflake environments to meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Implementing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake features and functionalities will be part of your role.
  • You will design and implement data models that support the analytical needs of the organization.
  • Monitoring and optimizing query performance in Snowflake, identifying and addressing bottlenecks in data processing will be required.
  • You will integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Implementing and enforcing security measures to protect sensitive data within Snowflake and ensuring compliance with data governance requirements will be essential.
  • You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes, Snowflake configurations, and data models.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver effective data solutions will be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Data or Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Snowflake is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in SQL, experience with data modeling tools, and experience with AI/ML frameworks are required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data workflows for performance are necessary.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) and related services is required.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for this role.
  • Certifications in Snowflake or related technologies are a plus.
  • A strong understanding of data integration practices and API connectivity across SaaS platforms is required.
