Neon is seeking a Data Engineer Specialist to contribute to the financial transformation of Brazilians.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and stable data pipelines.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing data service architectures, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify improvement opportunities, and ensuring the scalability and stability of the data platform.
The Data Platform team is responsible for maintaining and evolving the data platform used for decision-making processes and promoting a data-driven culture.

Requirements:
The candidate must have the ability to technically lead the team, define best practices, mentor other developers, and ensure project quality and success.
Experience in infrastructure and architecture dedicated to Data Engineering is required.
Knowledge of scalability, stability, and observability techniques for platforms is essential.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, along with familiarity with NoSQL databases, is necessary.
Experience with Apache Airflow or similar tools for orchestrating data pipelines is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar is needed.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools, large-scale data processing, and data lake architectures (Spark/PySpark) is required.
Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS), infrastructure as code tools, and container orchestration platforms is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices is required.
The candidate should possess collaborative skills to work in a dynamic, multifunctional environment and have strong communication skills to translate user needs into technical requirements.
