The Data Engineer role will help scale the Retailer Platform that spans multiple technologies using Azure, Databricks, and API development.
The platform is an end-to-end system that ingests retailers' raw data and serves it to multiple teams downstream, including live, production mobile applications.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines, designing and optimizing data models, leading the development of ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality and governance, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks.
Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and modern data lake/lakehouse concepts is required.
A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and CI/CD pipelines for data is essential.
Proven ability to lead complex data initiatives from design to delivery is required.
Experience with Medallion Architecture is necessary.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 a year, based on the candidate's experience as it relates to the role.
