  • The Data Engineer role will help scale the Retailer Platform that spans multiple technologies using Azure, Databricks, and API development.
  • The platform is an end-to-end system that ingests retailers' raw data and serves it to multiple teams downstream, including live, production mobile applications.
  • Responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines, designing and optimizing data models, leading the development of ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality and governance, and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks.
  • Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and modern data lake/lakehouse concepts is required.
  • A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and CI/CD pipelines for data is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead complex data initiatives from design to delivery is required.
  • Experience with Medallion Architecture is necessary.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
