  • As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines.

  • Your role will involve building scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Airflow to transfer data into the data lake.

  • You will provide technical leadership for the data engineering team and work with various teams to maintain data warehouse integrity.
  • Collaboration with upstream engineering groups and data recipients will be essential to enhance data generation and create user-friendly data models.
  • You will contribute to shared data engineering tools and standards and promote best practices across the company.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data.
  • Expertise in SQL and proficiency in one or more programming languages, ideally Python, Java, or Scala, is required.
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark and Apache Airflow is necessary.
  • You should have experience in data modeling, data architecture design, and ETL pipelines.
  • Familiarity with batching and streaming data infrastructure is essential.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau is preferred.
  • You should thrive in fast-moving and dynamic environments.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
