In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and managing data pipelines, ensuring that data is both reliable and accessible for analytics and machine learning teams.
You will tackle challenges in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database optimization to build a scalable and robust data infrastructure that supports the company's growth and data-driven initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar software engineering role is required.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is necessary.
Hands-on experience with building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets is essential.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt) is required.
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data-related offerings (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Glue) is important.
A solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies is necessary.
Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts is required.
