  • The company is remote-first, with a preference for candidates based in the United States or Europe, and fluency in English is required.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role, with significant experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL is required, particularly for complex data transformations and performance optimization, with strong PostgreSQL experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language for data pipeline development, automation, and scripting is necessary.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster is required.
  • Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their associated data services is essential.
  • Candidates should understand data modeling concepts, dimensional modeling, and database design principles for OLTP and OLAP systems.
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools, as well as building data marts for analytical consumption, is required.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, security, and privacy principles is necessary, including experience with data lineage and cataloging tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues are essential.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with strong communication skills is required.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control and CI/CD pipelines, is necessary.
  • Experience with time-series databases or data infrastructure products is a significant advantage.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
