Requirements:
A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Data Ingestion, Integration, ETL, or security engineering with large-scale implementations distributed globally is required.
Candidates must have extensive knowledge of a globally distributed environment across multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
A data-driven mindset is essential for this role.
A strong understanding of Data Management or Data Engineering is required.
Candidates should possess a strong grounding in data analysis and related processes.
Experience in Agile methods and familiarity with the Atlassian stack (i.e., JIRA) or related tools is necessary.
The ability to develop roadmaps and underlying strategies for data-centric products and services is required.
Experience with standard monitoring frameworks and observability products is essential.
Candidates should have experience with hybrid environment data sources, data collectors, and instrumentation.
Expertise in the use of SIEM solutions for basic and advanced detection methods, including cloud-based data sources, is required.
Experience with security monitoring and observability solutions such as Splunk, Sumo, Datadog, New Relic, and AppDynamics is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working with cloud and data security in a DevSecOps/IRE and agile working environments.
Expertise in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is required.
Experience with container/container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Familiarity with systems configuration orchestration tools like Ansible or Terraform is required.
An understanding of infrastructure as code and related concepts is essential.
Related security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, ITIL, etc.) are preferred.
Familiarity and experience with the Splunk SPL query language is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of familiarity and experience with Linux, Ubuntu, or Mac systems.
Experience in creating dashboards, queries, and alerts in Splunk, Data Dog, and Sumo is necessary.
Candidates should have experience troubleshooting issues with Splunk connectivity, including networking, server (Windows and Linux), and application tiers.
