The Data Engineer will report to the Head of Data and work closely with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing data solutions, managing data warehousing, developing ETL pipelines, and ensuring data orchestration.
The role involves integrating diverse data sources, ensuring infrastructure scalability, and participating in system upgrades and rollouts.
The Data Engineer will also monitor system performance, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and stay updated on the latest technologies in data engineering.
This position is fully remote.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering is required.
The candidate must be proficient in SQL and Python for data pipeline development.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and Snowflake is essential.
Familiarity with MongoDB and SQL databases such as Postgres and MySQL is necessary.
Extensive experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
Experience with data orchestration tools like Dagster or Apache Airflow is needed.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams is essential.
