Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and non-relational databases are required.
• A deep understanding of data warehousing concepts is essential.
• Extensive experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation is necessary.
• Expertise in Looker dashboard development and administration is required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is needed.
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using libraries like Panda and NumPy are required.
• Candidates should have strong exposure to writing ETL processes.
• A proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines using dbt is necessary.
• Experience in building and maintaining Looker dashboards and explores is required.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and data security protocols is essential.
• Candidates should have experience in data collection from multiple sources and integrating data based on business needs.
• Good hands-on experience with Core Python, PySpark, Hadoop, MariaDB, SQL for query preparation, and automation skills is preferred.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery, as well as experience in the Banking/Regulatory reporting domain, would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP data engineering services is required.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, GLUE ETL, Athena, RDS, Redshift, and EC2 is necessary.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
