Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with both relational and non-relational databases are required.
A deep understanding of data warehousing concepts is essential.
Extensive experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation is necessary.
Expertise in Looker dashboard development and administration is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is needed.
Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using libraries like Panda and NumPy are required.
Candidates should have strong exposure to writing ETL processes.
A proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines using dbt is necessary.
Experience in building and maintaining Looker dashboards and explores is required.
Familiarity with data governance practices and data security protocols is essential.
Candidates should have experience in data collection from multiple sources and integrating data based on business needs.
Good hands-on experience with Core Python, PySpark, Hadoop, MariaDB, SQL for query preparation, and automation skills is preferred.
Knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery, as well as experience in the Banking/Regulatory reporting domain, would be an advantage.
Familiarity with AWS/GCP data engineering services is required.
Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, GLUE ETL, Athena, RDS, Redshift, and EC2 is necessary.
Proficiency in the English language is required.
