The role involves designing data engineering solutions for enterprise clients across various MarTech and AdTech platforms.
Responsibilities include planning data flow across clients' MarTech stacks for use in Polaris, Wpromote's proprietary tech platform.
The Data Engineer will build data models using BigQuery and dbt for reporting, apps, and media forecasting.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in reporting, BI, or data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data manipulation methodologies is required.
Experience with API calls for gathering and storing large datasets (batch or streaming) is necessary.
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is essential.
Candidates should have experience with at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript or Python.
Familiarity with data engineering and workflow management frameworks like Airflow and dbt is required.
Knowledge of database and data warehousing design and management is necessary.
Understanding of the ETL process and data modeling experience using SQL is essential.
Attention to detail and the ability to debug and troubleshoot code/queries is required.
A collaborative mentality with the ability to work independently is necessary.
General business and marketing data acumen, including an understanding of common marketing goals, KPIs, and tactics, is required.
