  • Responsibilities include full-time or near full-time availability during the primary scheduling season (January to July), collaborating with various stakeholders to plan integration requirements, designing and documenting integration architecture, and managing data ingestion, transformation, and export.
  • The engineer will also meet with customers to execute integration workflows and troubleshoot challenges, which may involve some travel.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have experience working with school and district data as an educator, administrator, or IT staff member, with a preference for those with school scheduling and programming experience.
  • Prior experience in implementing data ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and export through various methods, including CSV-based integrations and service APIs, is required.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python or Typescript) and over one year of experience with data query and analysis technologies (such as SQL, Python Pandas, Bigquery) in a client-facing role is necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Candidates should be eager to work in an early-stage startup environment, demonstrating urgency in execution and a willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
