The role of Data Integrations Engineer is seasonal or contract-based, primarily focused on managing the data pipeline between Timely and its clients.
The engineer will work closely with engineering and customer success teams to assist clients in integrating Timely's scheduling technology.
Responsibilities include full-time or near full-time availability during the primary scheduling season (January to July), collaborating with various stakeholders to plan integration requirements, designing and documenting integration architecture, and managing data ingestion, transformation, and export.
The engineer will also meet with customers to execute integration workflows and troubleshoot challenges, which may involve some travel.
Requirements:
Candidates should have experience working with school and district data as an educator, administrator, or IT staff member, with a preference for those with school scheduling and programming experience.
Prior experience in implementing data ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and export through various methods, including CSV-based integrations and service APIs, is required.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python or Typescript) and over one year of experience with data query and analysis technologies (such as SQL, Python Pandas, Bigquery) in a client-facing role is necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with customers and cross-functional teams.
Candidates should be eager to work in an early-stage startup environment, demonstrating urgency in execution and a willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
