As a Data Scientist in the Commercial Analytics team, you will optimize clinical trial strategies and support the commercial team with data-driven insights.
You will collaborate with sales, clinical, and operational stakeholders to perform advanced data analytics and develop impactful reports and dashboards.
Your work will contribute to assessing clinical trial feasibility, improving customer engagement, and advancing operational efficiency in clinical research.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality support to the Commercial team, conducting rigorous analytics, reviewing clinical trial protocols, and developing new SQL and Python logic.
You will leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance clinical trial recruitment efforts and develop KPI metrics to track clinical trial performance.
Senior applicants will have the opportunity to mentor junior data scientists.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, biostatistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or in a highly analytical role, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
A deep understanding of clinical data elements in oncology and familiarity with clinical trials is essential.
Knowledge of information security best practices related to patient privacy and clinical data regulations is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate problems into actionable plans are required.
Proficiency in SQL and a programming language (preferably Python and PySpark) is necessary.
Experience with data visualization tools to create actionable dashboards and reports is required.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment is essential.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively is required.
