  • You will work independently on end-to-end research projects while collaborating with a team of data scientists.
  • The role involves presenting and promoting results to internal stakeholders and external clients and partners.
  • You will support and improve existing data science products and analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • The position requires designing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning and statistical methods for exploratory data analysis and product development.
  • You will design and execute A/B tests to optimize product performance and maximize revenue growth.
  • The role includes pursuing patents where applicable and contributing to thought leadership through presentations and publications.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as machine learning, statistics, physical science, or quantitative social science is required, or an M.S. in computer science or statistics with two years of professional experience.
  • Experience using real data to solve real problems is essential.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and fluency in related technical tools is required.
  • An interest in applying machine learning to large datasets to solve business problems is necessary.
  • Knowledge of current large language model and generative AI tools, along with an interest in applying them to data products, is important.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, with comfort in a client-facing role.
  • A track record of contributing to publications, presentations, external collaborations, and service to the research community is a plus.
  • Intermediate programming skills are necessary, with a willingness to learn and work with technologies such as Python, Google Cloud Platform, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark, BigQuery, and SQL.
