Description:

• RecargaPay is seeking a Specialist Data Scientist to join their Data Science team, focusing on the development, monitoring, and evolution of credit models and decision strategies.
• The role involves leading the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models and analytical solutions to address complex credit and transaction risk challenges.
• Responsibilities include developing real-time scoring models, building predictive models, evolving static rule engines, leading technology adoption, analyzing large datasets, developing tracking solutions, mentoring team members, and monitoring credit model performance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, and Spark, along with experience in libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with platforms like Databricks, AWS, and Azure, and experience with Git for version control.
• Demonstrated experience in building and implementing machine learning models, with deep knowledge of classification, regression, clustering algorithms, and model explanation techniques.
• Ability to handle large datasets, write efficient SQL queries, and conduct exploratory data analysis.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, statistics, and predictive modeling metrics.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles and experience in building scalable data models.
• An analytical mindset focused on problem-solving, with strong mathematical skills for optimizing complex problems.
• Ability to research and adapt existing solutions to specific problems, and apply theoretical knowledge to optimize solutions.
