Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of applied end-to-end industry experience, including internships, working with complex datasets.
  • Experience with data curation, querying, aggregation, exploratory data analysis, and visualization is required.
  • Proficiency in using statistical methods to analyze data, identify patterns, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions is necessary.
  • The candidate must have the ability to frame and answer questions mathematically and infer useful forward-looking directions from retrospective analysis results.
  • Fluency in managing, processing, and visualizing tabular data using SQL, Pandas, and R is essential.
  • Basic software development skills and experience with bash, Linux/Unix, and git are required.
  • The ability to refine requirements from ambiguous requests to produce clear reports demonstrating excellent communication is necessary.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, biostatistics, data science, computer science, or a related field is required.

Benefits:

  • The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000, determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
