• Responsibilities include collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to bring high-fidelity designs to production, building and maintaining the design system in Figma and production environments, prototyping interactions and animations, ensuring consistency and accessibility across platforms, defining new interaction patterns for AI-driven travel products, and working closely with engineering to balance craft and performance.

Requirements:

• You must have proven experience (4+ years) as a design engineer, frontend engineer, or fullstack engineer with strong design sensibilities, or be a designer who codes fluently.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript (or similar) is required, along with fullstack knowledge.
• You should have a knack for crafting usable, intuitive, and delightful interactions.
• Comfort in moving from concept to coded prototype quickly is essential.
• Experience in building or contributing to design systems and component libraries is necessary.
• You will participate in code reviews within the repository and help level up peers.
• Collaboration across functions on system design and product discovery in an async-first workflow is expected.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code is a must.
• Bonus points for experience with AI-powered products or other complex consumer applications.
