Remote Developer Advocate (Network APIs)

Description:

• Join Vonage as a Developer Advocate (Network API) to drive adoption of Network APIs like Sim Swap, QoD, and Device Location.
• Focus on enhancing developer experience and reducing implementation complexity while navigating compliance requirements.
• Blend technical expertise with practical implementation knowledge to help developers overcome challenges in network-level integrations.
• Create solutions and guidance that simplify the integration of Vonage's Network APIs.
• Help developers understand and implement complex network-level features while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Create sample apps and resources that address challenges of network API implementation from testing to production deployment.
• Responsibilities include developing implementation guides, building proof-of-concepts, gathering developer feedback, engaging with the community, and collaborating with product teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have software development experience and experience with API integration.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript is required.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are necessary, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a remote environment are essential.
• Experience in Developer Experience, Developer Relations, or Developer Advocacy is considered a plus.
• A background in creating developer documentation and technical content is advantageous.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS), Network APIs, and Vonage APIs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of global telecommunications regulations is a plus.
