The Developer Relations Advocate – Cloud will serve as the technical voice and hands-on enabler for the AI and ML developer community.
This role involves helping developers unlock the full potential of VMs, GPU clusters, orchestration tools, and optimized ML infrastructure.
Responsibilities include creating and sharing technical content that showcases real-world usage of VMs, GPU clusters, Kubernetes, SLURM, and platform orchestration for diverse AI/ML workloads.
The advocate will develop sample code, tutorials, demos, and best-practice reference architectures for cloud-native and ML engineering scenarios.
The role requires representing the company as a speaker, presenter, and mentor at conferences, hackathons, and developer communities.
Engaging actively across online platforms, social media, and community forums to guide and support the developer ecosystem is essential.
Organizing and leading workshops, webinars, and hands-on technical training on optimizing AI infrastructure is part of the job.
The advocate will author blog posts, deep dives, and video tutorials to help technical audiences maximize advanced AI-cloud capabilities.
Serving as a bridge between developers and internal product teams to collect feedback, identify pain points, and influence platform improvements is crucial.
Contributing to documentation, onboarding, and knowledge base resources to accelerate user success is also expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a technical development, cloud engineering, or DevOps role.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and containerized environments is necessary.
Experience using and optimizing distributed compute resources, including virtual machines, Kubernetes, SLURM, and GPU clusters for machine learning is required.
Proficiency in Python and strong familiarity with the PyTorch ecosystem are essential.
A solid grasp of networking, storage optimization, and resource management in cloud environments is needed.
Proven ability to explain complex technical topics through writing, presentations, or training is a must.
Excellent communication skills with strong collaboration abilities across product, engineering, and marketing teams are required.
Candidates should demonstrate self-direction, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship is mandatory.
