Responsibilities include creating a steady stream of content such as short-form videos, blog posts, memes, examples, GIFs, and tutorials.
The position requires building demos and examples in Rust and Python to help robotics engineers transition from learning to practical application.
The role also involves curating and sharing content across various channels including X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, and HN.
The candidate will implement and highlight relevant papers, projects, and research in the field of Physical AI.
The position includes a community support aspect, where the candidate will triage and answer GitHub issues, PRs, and questions on Slack/Discord.
The candidate will ensure documentation and quickstarts are clear, helpful, and up-to-date, reducing the support load on engineers.
Requirements:
Prior experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or technical content creation is required.
A background in robotics and a curiosity about the field is preferred, with the ability to identify where Rerun's tools fit in.
Technical credibility is necessary, with comfort in using Rust and Python to create examples, demos, and tutorials.
The candidate should be a natural content producer, with a history of blogging, posting, or sharing technical work on platforms like YouTube, GitHub, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
A storyteller mindset is essential, with the ability to explain technical tools in a fun, polished, and approachable manner.
The candidate should be community-oriented, actively engaging with developers on platforms such as Twitter/X, Reddit, HN, Discord, and LinkedIn.
Empathy for developers is crucial, with an understanding of how engineers think and the ability to communicate effectively in their language.
