Render is seeking an experienced Developer Relations Engineer to grow the usage and word-of-mouth of Render among full-stack application developers.
The role involves building an engaged and collaborative developer community around a platform that has attracted over 3 million developers, with more than 250,000 new developers signing up each month.
Responsibilities include creating high-impact technical content such as blog posts, videos, quickstart guides, and sample apps to help developers get started and grow on Render.
The candidate will develop and maintain code examples, tutorials, and native environments that showcase best practices and reduce friction in the developer journey.
The role requires representing Render at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and podcasts, offering practical insights and advocating for the developer perspective.
Engaging directly with the developer community on platforms like GitHub, Discord, and Reddit to support users, gather feedback, and spark conversation is essential.
The candidate will identify and improve onboarding flows for popular frameworks and languages like Python, Node, and Typescript.
Launching and supporting programs for developer champions, ambassadors, and early adopters who contribute to the Render ecosystem is part of the role.
The Developer Relations Engineer will serve as the voice of the developer internally, partnering with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to influence roadmap decisions and improve the end-to-end developer experience.
Planning and participating in Render-hosted technical events and community activations, including AMAs, workshops, and hackathons, is expected.
Tracking the impact of Developer Relations efforts using adoption metrics, community engagement, and content performance to inform future investments is also a responsibility.
