The Support Engineering team is hiring a Developer Support Engineer to provide hands-on guidance to developers using Milvus.
The role involves closing the feedback loop between users and product teams.
Responsibilities include serving as a technical resource for developers via support channels like Discord and virtual meetings.
The Developer Support Engineer will help troubleshoot issues in Milvus Docker/Kubernetes deployment and guide developers toward successful implementations.
The position requires working directly with strategic users to accelerate adoption, recommending best practices in large scale vector search, and solving deployment challenges.
The role also involves surfacing feedback to engineering and product teams to inform roadmap decisions.
Requirements:
A technical background in computer science, data science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in DevOps, solutions engineering, or backend development.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and empathy in developer-facing conversations are essential.
Strong problem-solving skills with database systems or AI/ML infrastructure are required.
The ability to work independently, prioritize user impact, and advocate for developers internally is important.
Benefits:
The offered salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $190,000 a year, based on location, relevant experience, and domain knowledge.
