The company is seeking a Developer Support Engineer to join the Developer Support Engineering (DSE) team.
The DSE team resolves complex support cases related to APIs, integrations, enterprise workflows, and admin tooling.
The role involves developing deep product knowledge and technical fluency in scripting, automation, OAuth, SSO/SAML, and Airtable’s API.
Responsibilities include investigating and resolving developer and admin-related support cases, partnering with senior engineers on high-complexity cases, and maintaining internal documentation and debugging guides.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to escalate bugs and advocate for improvements.
The role also involves participating in developer community channels to understand pain points and provide guidance.
The standard shift for this role is from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in advanced technical support, developer relations, or a similar customer-facing role involving platform technologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, OAuth flows, and JSON is required, along with experience troubleshooting and debugging workflows.
A willingness to grow expertise in enterprise admin tooling and developer surfaces is essential.
Strong communication skills are necessary to simplify technical topics for various audiences.
Candidates should be curious, coachable, and eager to learn from others while tackling challenging cases.
Proactivity in identifying gaps in documentation and internal processes, along with the initiative to suggest or implement improvements, is expected.

The base salary range for this role varies by location, with $95,000 - $124,100 USD for the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, and $86,000 - $111,800 USD for all other locations, including remote.
