Description:
inventYOU is looking for a skilled DevOps Automation Engineer for a long-term assignment with a leading telecom client in Sweden.
This role offers flexibility with options for remote or hybrid work.
The position is open to EU citizens or residence permit holders in Europe or Sweden.
Responsibilities include automating and optimizing deployments in a cloud-native telco environment.
The engineer will work with TOSCA, CSAR packages, and infrastructure as code.
Development of automation scripts in Python and Bash is required.
The role involves using CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, APIs, and workflows.
Deployment of cloud-native network functions (CNFs) using Kubernetes is part of the job.
Collaboration with global teams in an onsite-offshore model is expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8β10 years of experience in automation/DevOps.
Proven experience in automation and cloud-native environments is required.
A strong understanding of TOSCA (Topology and Orchestration Specification for Cloud Applications) and CSAR packages is necessary.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash, is essential.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes is required.
Excellent working knowledge of GitHub Actions, its workflows, and APIs is necessary.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment in an onsite-offshore model is important.
Experience with cloud-native network functions (CNFs) and their deployment is required.
Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly VMWare, is preferred.
Prior experience in Telco cloud and automation is preferred.
