Description:

  • At H1, the mission is to provide a platform that optimally informs every doctor interaction globally, promoting health equity and building trust in healthcare systems.
  • The DevOps team is responsible for all aspects of application and infrastructure operations and deployment pipelines for cloud applications.
  • As a DevOps Engineer II, you will play a key role in scaling and supporting cloud infrastructure.
  • You will work closely with engineering and data teams to improve the reliability, visibility, and efficiency of systems and deployment pipelines.
  • This is a hands-on role focused on automation, enablement, and operational excellence in a fast-paced AWS-based environment.
  • Responsibilities include automating and scaling infrastructure provisioning, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and troubleshooting systems, driving incident response, optimizing cloud infrastructure, evaluating new tools, collaborating across teams, and participating in a light on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure or equivalent experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, is required; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is necessary.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions and CircleCI is required.
  • A basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration systems, with familiarity in deploying and managing workloads on Amazon EKS, is needed.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, OpenSearch) is essential.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Python and Bash for automation and tool development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and IAM policies is necessary.
  • Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation is required.
