Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• As a DevOps Engineer at AppXite, you will work in a cloud environment with containerized microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes.
• You will implement an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach using Terraform and automate processes as much as possible.
• The role involves using CI-CD practices with Kubernetes-native deployment pipelines and Helm Charts for application packaging and deployment.
• You will collaborate with other engineering team members to solve problems and ensure the quality and usability of the product.
• Your responsibilities include improving cloud infrastructure operations, managing CI/CD pipelines, multi-cloud Kubernetes cluster management, and automating tasks.
• You will also plan and execute migrations to newer Kubernetes solutions and document your work clearly.

Requirements:

• You must have 4+ years of DevOps experience.
• Experience in managing and automating containerized Application Infrastructure, specifically Kubernetes clusters and cloud services, is required.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration, including pods, services, deployments, ingress, and persistent volumes, is necessary.
• You should have experience in Helm Charts development and management for application packaging and deployment.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and multi-cloud resource provisioning is essential.
• Knowledge of automated processes and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform is required.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native services is necessary.
• You should have knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with Docker, container registries, and CI/CD tools is required.
• Linux knowledge and scripting skills are necessary.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar is required.
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or cloud provider certifications are preferred.
• You must be able to make quick decisions, align priorities, and execute tasks effectively.
• A collaborative team player attitude is essential.
