  • This role involves designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • You will modernize software delivery processes, focusing on GitHub and Microsoft Azure capabilities.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure and scalable delivery of high-quality software solutions, including applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • This is a 12-month contract role.
  • Responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, managing GitHub repositories, and optimizing the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategy for the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Microsoft Azure services, develop infrastructure-as-code scripts, and identify opportunities for process automation.
  • Embed security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and maintain comprehensive documentation for all DevOps processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role is required.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the GitHub platform, particularly with GitHub Actions for creating complex CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in designing and managing automated pipelines.
  • Proficiency with core Microsoft Azure services and experience in deploying and managing applications within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing ALM for the Microsoft Power Platform using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues promptly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, container technologies, configuration management tools, and relevant industry certifications.
