To.Scale is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a major Japanese automotive manufacturer to help shape the future of connected mobility.
This role is hands-on and involves building the pipelines, infrastructure, and automation for modern connected vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities include automating infrastructure with Terraform, deploying and debugging Kubernetes workloads in AWS, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure security in all deployments.
The engineer will troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, pipelines, and applications, and optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
The position emphasizes collaboration, automation, and problem-solving within the team.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3–5 years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
Strong hands-on skills with Terraform are non-negotiable.
Expertise in AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, and API Gateway is required.
Experience in deploying and debugging Kubernetes workloads is necessary.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes, preferably with GitLab CI and Argo CD, is expected.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash/Shell is required.
The ideal candidate should be an agile team player with a strong problem-solving drive.

Compensation is based on 220 days per year, converted into a fixed monthly fee that includes paid time off and local public holidays.
