The company is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help administer and support their small but critical cloud environments.
The role involves administering and supporting cloud environments in Azure and AWS.
Responsibilities include managing and optimizing EKS infrastructure for high-security deployments, coordinating deployments, improving CI/CD pipelines, and automating routine tasks.
The DevOps Engineer will monitor infrastructure performance, implement optimizations, and manage costs.
The position requires owning end-to-end vulnerability management, including monitoring Snyk and GitHub Dependabot alerts, coordinating assessments, and proposing remediations.
The role also involves managing access controls, supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs, and collaborating with Engineering to address architectural security weaknesses.
A bonus aspect of the role includes analyzing source code for common vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
The company offers flexible working arrangements, with about one-third of the team based in New York City and the rest working remotely.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 2–10 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or infrastructure security.
Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Azure and/or AWS, is required.
Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, automation tools, and basic scripting (e.g., Github Actions, Bash, Python) is necessary.
Exposure to monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic is expected.
An understanding of secure software development and application security concepts is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have qualifications include experience with Golang, financial systems, trading platforms, exchanges, blockchain technology, and security and cryptography.

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 to $160,000, though the final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location.
