The Experian Health DevOps team needs a DevOps Engineer to support the modernization and migration of CI/CD tooling from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
The role involves evaluating, configuring, and adopting cloud-native tools as part of a broader cloud transformation.
The DevOps team is responsible for Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Development, and Operational Support for Experian Health.
The team supports the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) across multiple development teams and products.
The software development tools used include collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack; repositories such as Bitbucket, GitHub, and Artifactory; CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness, and Octopus Deploy; observability tools including Splunk, Cribl, Sysdig, and Dynatrace; container orchestration with EKSCloud; and operations on AWS.
Requirements:
Candidates must be self-motivated, collaborative, and have experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation.
The role requires helping with the evaluation and implementation of cloud-hosted DevOps tools, focusing on GitHub, Artifactory Cloud, and Octopus Deploy Cloud.
Candidates should be able to migrate and refactor CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-native architectures and modern development practices.
Writing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation scripts to enable scalable DevOps workflows is essential.
Participation in knowledge-sharing and mentoring around CI/CD tools and practices is expected.
Candidates should help define repeatable patterns and tooling standards to accelerate DevOps modernization across teams.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience migrating DevOps tooling from on-prem to cloud is required.
Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise administration and GitHub Actions is necessary.
Exposure to Artifactory Cloud and binary lifecycle management is preferred.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Windows-based applications is required.
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are necessary.
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments is a plus.
