Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Join the DevSecOps team as a skilled DevOps Engineer to ensure flawless technology operation for customers.
• Provide technical guidance, identify server performance improvements, create upgrade plans, and execute them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient and continuous software delivery.
• Maintain, optimize, and support infrastructure and servers on Google Cloud Platform/Azure.
• Implement and manage DevOps tools, processes, and infrastructure.
• Design and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Ensure high availability and performance of software systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for system performance improvement.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Enhance system security and data protection measures.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging DevOps technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of Cloud Services (GCP or Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong skills in defining and implementing network architecture, IAM policies, HA setups, and backups.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and any Continuous Delivery platform.
• Proficiency in Linux and Bash.
• Experience in setting up and managing cloud architectures through Infrastructure As Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with Postgres DB and monitoring systems (Datadog, Elastic Cloud, Dynatrace).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Good knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, Javascript (Nice to have).
• GCP/Azure Certifications (Nice to have).
