ZeroFox is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to contribute to their innovative cybersecurity solutions.
The role involves collaborating with product teams and software engineers across various domains to develop the next generation of solutions for the ZeroFox platform.
The engineer will gain in-depth knowledge of the microservices architecture and stack to improve system stability, performance, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities include owning and maintaining components of the DevOps infrastructure, such as CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions, with a focus on security.
The position requires taking on a leadership role within projects, guiding best practices around deployment automation and secure configuration management.
The engineer will research and implement new tooling to ensure systems meet production security requirements and coordinate with security stakeholders for compliance reviews.
Requirements:
Candidates must be motivated, communicative, and teamwork-oriented professionals comfortable in agile environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent education or experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience is necessary.
A good understanding of the software development lifecycle, automation, and CI/CD practices is essential.
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS for building and scaling web architecture, including basic security considerations, is required.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Nomad, or Kubernetes is needed.
Candidates must be able to write and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, integrating security into workflows.
Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English are required.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment is essential.
