Arc is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the design, build, and maintenance of their data warehouse.
The role involves collaboration with the Research and Program team, end users, and stakeholders throughout the process.
Responsibilities include creating automated build and deployment capabilities, setting up infrastructure and application monitoring, and collaborating on infrastructure as code.
The engineer will investigate infrastructure technical issues, foster a collaborative culture, and track API performance metrics to enhance stability and scalability.
The role also includes managing user/group rights and permissions across cloud infrastructure vendors and critical third-party services.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in cloud computing, preferably with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform is required.
Scripting skills in languages such as Bash and Python, along with automation skills, are necessary.
Knowledge of containerization concepts, particularly Kubernetes, is essential.
Candidates should possess knowledge of security, DevSecOps, and monitoring and logging solutions.
Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Java or Python, or Node.js is required.
Basic database skills and familiarity with SQL are necessary.
Desirable qualifications include continuous integration and GitLab experience, experience with open data, and familiarity with the financial industry.
Understanding of the net zero transition, green software concepts, and basic knowledge of Machine Learning and AI, including MLOps, is a plus.
