  • The role is for a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in OpenShift and Infrastructure.
  • The candidate will manage and administer Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Responsibilities include automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts.
  • The engineer will implement and manage GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD, FluxCD, or Tekton.
  • The role involves deploying and managing containerized applications using HELM, Operators, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift Logging is required.
  • The engineer will configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  • Ensuring compliance with security best practices (RBAC, SCCs, PSPs) is essential.
  • Collaboration with development and operations teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions is expected.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 4+ years of experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes in production.
  • A strong background in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) is required.
  • Experience with container runtimes such as Docker, Podman, and CRI-O is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and HELM is essential.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell is required.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts, including Ingress, CNI plugins, and Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd) is needed.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Tekton is required.
  • A strong understanding of RBAC, Security Context Constraints (SCCs), and container security principles is necessary.
