The role is for a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in OpenShift and Infrastructure.
The candidate will manage and administer Red Hat OpenShift 4.x and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Responsibilities include automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts.
The engineer will implement and manage GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD, FluxCD, or Tekton.
The role involves deploying and managing containerized applications using HELM, Operators, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift Logging is required.
The engineer will configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
Ensuring compliance with security best practices (RBAC, SCCs, PSPs) is essential.
Collaboration with development and operations teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions is expected.
The role includes performing system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance across platforms.
Providing technical support and resolving issues related to OpenShift and infrastructure services is part of the job.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 4+ years of experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes in production.
A strong background in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) is required.
Experience with container runtimes such as Docker, Podman, and CRI-O is necessary.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and HELM is essential.
Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts, including Ingress, CNI plugins, and Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd) is needed.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Tekton is required.
A strong understanding of RBAC, Security Context Constraints (SCCs), and container security principles is necessary.
