Remote DevOps Engineer (Project-Based)

Description:

• Manage and maintain staging, production, and development environments on AWS.
• Ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of server infrastructure supporting the website.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC.
• Maintain stability and performance of servers through updates, backups, and monitoring.
• Implement security best practices like IAM roles and encryption.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket for smooth deployments.
• Set up monitoring tools for system health and proactive response to alerts.
• Develop automation scripts for tasks like backups, deployments, and scaling.
• Quickly resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and optimize AWS costs for efficient resource utilization.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related role focusing on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Proficient in Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of networking concepts in AWS.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
