Remote DevOps Engineer

• The position is for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the R&D team at Real, working closely with the consultant DevOps team to prioritize, schedule, and implement DevOps tasks.
• The successful candidate will take a hands-on role in managing Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring tools like Datadog.
• This role involves being the first hire in the dedicated DevOps team, shaping its future direction and growth, and leading the overall technical vision and strategy for DevOps.
• The candidate will also discuss and educate other team members in DevOps methodology, design, and best practices.
• The work schedule is from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST, and the position is remote in India, with the requirement to join within 45 days of the offer.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer in an individual contributor role.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration is essential.
• The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud.
• Significant experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) is required.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Datadog and a strong understanding of infrastructure and application performance metrics are necessary.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) is a plus.
