As a DevOps Engineer at Ripjar, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of the infrastructure that supports development and operational services.
You will actively support and continuously improve the core infrastructure offering, providing a solid foundation for delivering cutting-edge solutions to customers.
Key tasks include automating the deployment, operation, and maintenance of systems in a hybrid cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling, administering systems and applications on Linux-based systems, designing and maintaining IP networks, creating automated solutions for development teams, improving code security, and implementing effective monitoring of applications and infrastructure services.
Requirements:
Strong experience in administering and securing Linux hosts on both virtual and physical infrastructure is required.
Extensive experience using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling, such as Ansible, Terraform, and Helm, is necessary.
Experience in configuring, managing, and securing public cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Azure, is essential.
Candidates must have experience administering containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience in administering IP networking in a corporate environment is required.
Candidates should have experience automating tasks using languages and tools such as Bash, Python, JavaScript, and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of effectively using security testing and monitoring tooling, such as SAST and SIEM products, is necessary.
Candidates with experience contributing to incident response across a complex microservice-based application will be of particular interest.
Familiarity with application security best practices, including identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, designing secure software systems, and implementing robust security measures, is preferred.

The position offers a base salary of up to Β£75,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
